Ms. Murphy is in the house...

 I have adored the work that comes from Jennifer Murphy's hands since I first held one of her creations in 2001...that was at a teddy bear show in Timonium, MD where I'd gone to sell and to visit with Pat Murphy and Jody Battaglia...(I have to add that my daughter Charlotte, now 9, took her first steps at that bear show with Thea's help!)

 Since that time I have been pursued and collected her pieces personally, and proud to become her friend and to then do business with her...

 So it's a true treat to share a peek at the creations we just unpacked...

 Some fun one of a kinds and a few exclusive editions...

 I adore them all...

Here's a peek at my week via cell-phone shots...I am linking up with the gals over at Life Rearranged and thank them all for inspiring me with the ups and downs and ins and outs of their days...I am constantly reminded that we each have something to learn from those we meet and encounter...

Here's hoping you had a good week and are on your way to another one filled with good things...I am headed into the hardest part of preparation for a major event on 5/19 & 5/20 -- our 11th Annual Spring Fling. Once again, we will be back in Saratoga, NY...hope some of you can pop in to meet me and the Earth Angels' artists, and Jo Packham if you are in the hood...

 Anne was here and now she's headed back to Australia...we miss her already...

 Check it out! Ohh Lisa Kaus has a fab card in Trader Joe's!  I nabbed a stack of them...

 The "Someone Special Square Dance"...there's my Dad, Jim on the left and Charlotte on the right...they've been going to this since Charlotte was in 1st grade....

 Dawn sent me this gorgeous silver compote from her antiquing jaunts...thanks Dawn I love the treat and it makes me think of you...

 Letty sent some fab teddy purses....doubly sweet...

 Ohhh a new book from Jo Packham....it's laden wiht yummy photos and a must for the shelf...

Aidan nabbed this shot up at the Creamery...before we ate all the ice cream we could...

hotcakes on my mind....

It's one of those dreary days and I need all the bling I can muster to feel stylin'...

so thanks to my pal Caramia Visick for the fab new vintage-inspried line she's recently created...

I have just gone through the images from the gift fair earlier this year, and with the new work getting posted to the site, I wanted to share a peek at her creations...they speak to my affection for Bakelite! I am smitten...

I adore the lush dense colors and texture of her work...here's a peek....

I might just be in love with that coral rose necklace, and I am never a fan of peach, but then again, artists do make me see the world differently.

Bravo Caramia on the new line, it's so different to your classic line with black resin and retro images, but still so wonderfully you...

Food For Thought...

...I adore the small worlds created by painter Diana Card...so does Jo Packham....and Jo graciously included one of Diana's works in the current issue of "Where Women Cook"...how wonderful is that?

Thanks Jo....this issue is a delight and I love that you were able to include Earth Angels among the pages....I will post soon about another special friend who is featured among the pages....

A wonderful week of adventure...

And what a week it was!

Anne rolled in from Melbourne and no sooner had she settled in we were off to Innsbruck for 4 amazing days...

 Just magic, it was like a dream to be there in Austria again...and with Anne!

 And I think I am in love with basil and mint sorbet served with lemon sorbet and custard...

 I have collected images of bicycles for about 25 years....

I wanted to hop on this one like Maria and tour Salzburg!

 See this chess set, I found my way to it, recalling it from my first visit to Salzburg when I was 16...

 Eggs, lots of hand painted eggs...

I wanted at least a dozen!

 Here's Anne in Telfs with Lars and Amelie...they drove down from Munich to spend the day with us...

 We just had to take in the bling at Swarovski...love their jewelry, sparkle and shine....

 Ahhh, schnapps anyone??? Look at this shop with more than 80 varieties to sample....

 Bikes galore...

 The view from our hotel...it was like living in a postcard for a few wonderful days...

 Wool and more wool...we stumbled across this gem of a shop...

 And now it's back to all that is Earth Angels and Thinking "Pink" 

with Debbee's special pieces to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation...
