...long OVERDUE!!! A congrats to friends...

It's a true treat to be able to sit down and read any of Jo Packham's magazines...
and when I can do it with a cup of tea and read one cover to cover, well, it's just absolute heaven...
it makes me think of my friend Jo, and all the incredible women she has connected over the years...

So, once again, thanks Jo for featuring all the incredible women

It's even better when I know the women or have worked on the stories!

Peek below and see Nikki G & Jaye.
Both are great friends, and it's a true treat to know them, have worked on these features and then,
to open the mag months later and see their stories and spaces...sigh....

Here's Nikki G. celebrating her entertaining style and Polish heritage in the November issue of
Where Women Cook...
if you don't have this issue - you need it!

And here's Jaye dishing about how she's fit her lifestyle photography business into her life...
the November issue is one of my faves ever...
you need this one too!

xxoo to Jo and all the incredible women she celebrates.  I am a grateful girl to know her and be part of the Where Women Create network!

...will I see you in Round Top?

...so excited to share the news of the
Where Women Create Reunion
that's been scheduled for
Round Top's Spring Antiques Week.

I will be making a very short trip to be a part of the events hosted by my friend & boss, Jo Packham...
I love Jo...and I love working for her as a contributor to her magazines. It's become a big part of my own journey, and I am grateful to her and all of the many women with whom I have been able to work.

It's going to be a special treat for me to step out
(on my 47th birthday - woo hoo)
to be a part of the gathering she has planned...

On Monday, 3/28...

Thanks in advance to my gal pals Holly Kuhn,
Gina Galvin, Sandra Evertson, Tara Royer Steele, and Celeste Shaw for encouraging me to leave the work behind for a few days and make the time to be with them and share...without them, this journey would not be possible...
Hope to see some of you there at these events!

Where Women Cook Strikes Again!!! Love this...

...I just read it....cover to cover...
and need to fill you in on why the latest issue of
Where Women Cook is so special to me.

I love the opportunities that come my way in this wonderfully handmade business...I have gotten to know so many talented women over the years...
and the connections among us are much like constellations we draw as the relationships overlap and move forward...
So, last summer -- kids in tow -- and on my way to stay with Nancy Wiley in Canandaigua, NY -- I stopped to photograph a vegan luncheon hosted by Shelly Kennedy of Drooz Studio....

Thanks to Jo Packham,
it's in the March 2015 issue of Where Women Cook and I am just so thrilled.

I have known Shelly for years through her artistry and the Art Girls' RoadShow events she's attended with her lovely Mom and daughter, Chloe. So, to be able to connect the dots of networking, friendship and food was a true treat....

...here's a peek at the pages...but you really need this issue for the recipes...I have already made the Beet Hummus (I left the luncheon with the recipe) and I am SMITTEN, HOOKED, ENSNARED!  Totally wonderful...
But the coconut cream was addicting too!

...don't miss this issue!  You can order here...
 Thanks to Jo and Shelly...
a wonderful opportunity to work with you both...
