thanks for putting HANDMADE in print!

...nice news is good news to be able to share...

I am a grateful girl that national magazine
"Cottages & Bungalows" bravely shares handmade and art with their readers...

So a HUGE thanks to Editor in Chief, Jickie Torres and everyone at "Cottages & Bungalows" magazine for helping to celebrate the style & treasure the beauty of the Earth Angels Studios' artists in their stellar new, JUNE/JULY issue...

It was a treat to see our mentions among the pages...

Here's a punch needle piece from
artist Leslie McCabe.
See more of her work on the site HERE
prices start at $19...
And here's a fab folk art,
naive-style painting from Diana Card...
Her originals and prints -- all printed in the US I should add -- can be SHOPPED HERE
and start at $7...
Thanks again for the good press that make good news to share!

so wonderful to have her back...

Working with artists has a rhythm all its own.

Especially when the artists work from the heart...
when they are able to create, it is wonderful,
but sometimes life and logistics get in the way...
And we don't have new work...for a while.

And we wait, and we wait...and then when the work arrives...
I am reminded how very wonderful it is to wait for something so wonderful.
So fresh...so happy.

I am so pleased that Diana Card has once again been able to create. Following a move from New Jersey to Maine she had a hiatus of studio time...
but now she is back in there...at the paints and brushes.  And I am glad.

Her new series is a departure...it has an openness and airy loft, and among them a feeling of newness that is charming...
AND we're offering them at PROMO PRICING...sweet!

...here's a peek at some of my faves...
(MORE are on the site and ALL ARE SHIPPING FREE

something I'm really excited about...

Diana just visited from New Jersey on her way to Maine....
She's created a wonderful series of signed prints from her all time favorite original paintings... and just dropped off 25 of each.

I am utterly thrilled that we have been able to upload oodles of images of these available prints to the site....
She is excited as I am about this partnership to share her work...
Here she's showing off an all-time fave..."American Snowmen"  which measures 5.5x15" and is $20...

Here's a peek at some of the wonderful details of one of my faves,

Here's a peek too at another fave called "No More Pencils"...I'll let you figure out the theme of that one!

And Diana's personal fave, "Herb Garden"...
Thanks too go to Harold for his fab photos of the prints...he's posted them to her pages on the site, and they look super...with loads of detail to show the stories Diana is telling in each piece.

Thanks Diana, you know I adore you and all you create.

Hello Monday...and how do we grow?

Hello Monday...we have an amazing week planned...
Hello to looking at things from a fresh angle. Even if we've done it all before, let's make it better. It might be just as hard, but it might be more fun.
Hello busy week stacking up.. me and Sue and Michelle will be leaving for Atlanta at the crack of dawn on Wednesday...it's a l-o-n-g drive but with two good friends, the miles will roll along...and Sue's famous "so good made me lose the keys to the truck last time" peanut butter cookies don't hurt either.
Hello growth and change -- some days, I am not sure whether I like you or not!  It seems just when I think I have things figured out it, something grows, something changes. Today I like you.

Hello Mom...you are 82! Happy Birthday to you.

Hello Charlotte...you are good at so many things I could never do. I admire you for being you.

Hello oodles of cool new things on the site...
I am smitten with these 8x8 artful wall pieces from Sugarboo...
And hello to Laurie's new "Blue Series" too...
Hello to the friends who push me to try something. Think something new, to be brave, and work harder to be me.

Hello Beth...it's amazing to see you as a momma.  Weren't you just a little girl last year. Hello to watching the people I love - all my amazing nieces and nephews -- grow up.

Hello Diana...I love that you visited this week.
You are the best of coffee company.

Hello Halloween silliness...so glad you've started.
Hello Trunk or Treat...what a cool concept...Hello we crashed a party!

Hello Lisa...I know you are far away but I am thinking of you....
We've just updated your pages with your new Faith Collection...and your Create Your Own designs too.

Hello to all of you. I hope it's a beautiful week for you....tell me what you are up to...
...and do hope to see some of you in Atlanta.

Hello Monday...& thanks Mr. Columbus

How can I not give a bright shiny hello to Monday....
Thanks to Mr. Columbus -- and that whole spirit of adventure that changed the planet -- the kids are home...and I love it.

So Hello to linking up with "Hello Mondays" thanks to Lisa Leonard....
she's our newest Earth Angels Studios' artist and I am so taken with her charming jewelry designs and their sweet sentiments.

Hello to new traditions.  We had a day out with my in-laws to play tourist in our own town -- we are just 50 miles north of the City but quite rural. Drizzle or not, we had a super time and I got a few pics with the iPhone.

Hello new tradition. While it seems all of the Greater NY Metro area comes here to pick apples and pumpkins and get lost in the corn maze, visit the wineries and our wonderful restaurants and shops...we locals don't seem to take the time to do these wonderful fall things.  So this year, we tried something new and we did too with some young friends in tow. We're already planning on next year...
Hello to a new week with so much to do, I am trying on a new schedule for size. Now that the new website is up and running for a month, I think I have a sense of how things are really rolling along.

Hello to registering for my first yoga class. I am curious and just have to try out the new center here in town for a few classes.

Hello to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Have you had your mammogram this year. I just booked mine.  Thanks to Debbee Thibault for celebrating the spirit of awareness with her new "Pink" pieces benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Hello to trying something totally new on our site. For the first time we are presenting prints from an artist along-side her original paintings. I adore Diana Card as a human being and respect her talent and style as an artist. I love that we can present this affordable option with her signed prints.

Hello to running into friends in a pumpkin patch.

And Hello to running, yes running around, but I am back to running more frequently and it's a good thing. I love the cooler weather and I found a super new loop that suits me.

Hello to Fall, a new season and a new season of adventures.

xxoo Jen
