...still here... and wondering....

...I'm still chugging along and my first thought today...

whatever will I do with this BLOG...??!!

There's a flurry of social media options out there... still...

I don't want to let go of this... so here I am...

IF you have not caught any of my IGTV Episodes... take a peek HERE....there are 24 episodes since March from 4-15 minutes in length and topics vary from Halloween traditions to exploring Devon art pottery... lots of things that make me tick...so I like to share

I took a look at some vintage doll house furniture of the 1930s, and highlighted the creative re-purposing by our featured artist -- author, illustrator, toymaker - Christie Jones Ray...

I share some intel and inspo a few times each month...
I'm a talker, so this seems a good way for me to share....

Suggestions on topics welcome... I have background and experience in vintage and handmade, and decades of experience in business development.

Thanks for reading... and I will post again soon!

If you don't already know the work of Colleen Attara...
I hope you can encounter it soon...
I say this because her art speaks to me in in such a deeply personal way...

...so, it was nothing short of a true honor and unfettered joy that I visited Colleen at her studio to photograph her space and profile her for my column in Where Women Create magazine...

sweet & petite...happy things

I am completely smitten with tiny things...

...so when the parcel of itty bitty fairies arrived from France recently, I couldn't wait to take them out and have a good play...

I first saw her work in the kitchen of my dear friend, Rosanna De Bellis @rosannadebellis
and it was really love at first sight...

I am thrilled we're now able to work together to share Stephanie's style and handmade lovelies...

Each is about 2" tall and prices start at $19...

I especially love when you can see Stephanie's fingerprints in the clay...

...these two are my current faves...
can't blame me,
I'm Irish and GREEN is my fave color...
but they are all uber cute
xxoo and happy day to all with small joys...
sometimes the little things
have the biggest magic of all

such nice news...Wee Forest Folk in Print

I love that I was able to feature the so well-deserving Petersen Family & Wee Forest Folk in my column "The Business of the Studio" in this issue of Where Women Create magazine...

I think it's incredible to still be an artful soul in old age, and to think and move creatively in business...
This was a special day...I went to shoot the story and found so much more...

It's impossible not to fall in love with 97 year old founder, Annette Petersen when you encounter her, sitting and working with her was an incredible experience...
Her family is everything and they create together...
three generations of artists with one vision...
I appreciate them all...Willy, Donna, Bonnie...

It's even more impossible not to fall in love with all they create....by hand...in Massachusetts...

And a huge thanks Jo Packham
for making this all possible...
