the fond farewells are wrapping up...oh Debbee...

For those of you that follow the work of Debbee Thibault you know that she announced her impending retirement -- and the retirement of all new moulds and the discontinuing of all designs in her collection -- at the end of 2013.

Since then, Debbee has been completing what orders she could...

until the moulds started to break...and some orders were cancelled

(sorry again to those of you that missed those pieces....)

But most of you were able to add a special piece to your collection and we are grateful for your orders...the remaining inventory of her creations from the 2013 and prior year's collections are offered on these pages....we have a few wonderful pieces still available, among them some of the very last in the editions and most we have just one of still available...

There are some really special and very rare pieces still here, so do check the pages if you adore Debbee's work as I do...

We're also truly thrilled that as Debbee has been still hard at work creating some tribute pieces to celebrate the high notes of her long career...these are called the "Fond Farewell Editions" and this entire collection is available exclusively through Earth Angels Studios...she is making them with the last of the available supplies and moulds and most are editions of just 4-8 pieces.

Among the first was "Bitty Cup Cakes"...I adore everything about this piece!

Just in last week were the festive duet...The Halloween and Christmas Spirits....

And the stellar "Good Luck Santa"...

I love that he's all about the silver and the sparkle!

Santa for a Black Sheep is almost sold out...

And then the wonderful "Santa's Favorites" with his pink house and Earth Angels bunny and teddy bear...

...goodbyes are really hard...xxoo to you Debbee!

...Debbee Thibault retires tomorrow...

I really cannot believe it...we've worked together for 11 years.

So I wanted to let you know that you will see much of Debbee's pages and offerings disappear off our site today and tomorrow as we sell the last of the creations....
The good news is that, after 12/31 we will have some offerings still coming in...including some artist proofs and From the Vault pieces...so do check back BUT...

Hello Monday!!

'tis STILL the season...

and it's still 2013, so let me play catch up on a few things before the new year rolls in!

I love this time of year...I want it to last, to let the sweet moments linger. And the decorations all about me seem to hold those memories and moments close from year to year...

So...it's nice to see so many of my fave decorations in print...and the creations of some of my fave artists too! Thanks to Cottages & Bungalows for the feature in the December issue.

Thanks to Jickie Torres for the fab chance to share a peek at decorating in my house this year...

Cottages & Bungalows saluted the "Joy of Toys" with a peek at my fave tips and treats for decorating with beloved and handmade objects from Jody Battaglia, Nicol Sayre, Letty Worley, Debbee Thibault, Stacey Bear, Sue Parker, Pat Murphy, Pat Castka and Leslie McCabe...oh la la do these gals have a merry style worth noting!

...head whirling..snow falling...Christmas coming...Debbee retiring...

...what a whirlwind the past few weeks have been...

I have been everywhere but BLOGland...

and there's big news to share...

We've had snow days, a beautiful big Country Living show, kids home from school sick, boxes coming in and boxes going out...

...and among all this hustle and bustle, 2 of my kiddos' birthdays and all the regular joyful Christmas stuff...oh and I am a retailer.

SIGH. No, double sigh...

So I have missed posting and I have much to share and I do promise to catch up.

I do have some big news to share, for those of you who have not yet heard....my wonderfully talented, beautiful and amazing friend Debbee Thibault is retiring on December 31st...

I know, I cannot believe it here it. After 18 sensational years in business she has decided to retire...and it is well-earned. But oh my, will she be missed.

Those hoping to add pieces to their collection can order via the site until 12/31...at that time, all her offerings will be removed from the site, with the exception of pieces we have in inventory.

...there are some oldies and goodies surfacing...

Debbee Thibault closing her workshop in December...

...it is tough for me to even write this...
Debbee Thibault is retiring.

I just received an email from Debbee letting me know that, after 18 years in business
she has decided to close her workshop doors.
I am so very sad...but please join me in celebrating her amazing contributions to the arena of folk art and handmade. She and her art are in my heart. And it will be so tough to say goodbye to working with her on a daily basis...

fall news from Debbee...

Every once in a while something really special comes along....

I love these two new pieces from Debbee Thibault....Thanks giving is my very fave of holidays with Halloween close behind and of course, fall is my fave season (it must be the pumpkin spice coffee speaking to me....)

These sweet new art dolls from Debbee remind me how very grateful I am for all the talented artists I work with, and what I get to do everyday meeting so many interesting collectors and creators...

So this is one of those "onces" and both are on my personal wish list along with Debbee's new exclusives for Halloween...

Thanks Debbee for always working so hard to create these pieces that make us so happy to know you and share in your talents....
