Sweet! Skippy Doodle Sue in print....

How cool is that...The editors of Victorian Homes magazine have picked Sue's sweet Skippy Doodle Designs pincushions as a featured gift item to make the season merry.

Woo hoo for Sue...let's give her a hand!!! And to celebrate, take 20% off ANY of her creations today and tomorrow (October 26 & 27 ONLY)
with Coupon Code SweetSue at checkout.

Her wonderful pincushions and paper follies are sweet treasures. I have known Sue for a long time and she is an amazing woman with a big heart and a quick wit. It's my honor to work with her and showcase her creations on the site.
She created these one of a kinds with vintage and found goods, and often features fellow Earth Angels' artist Jennifer Paganelli's Sis-Boom textiles...

But my faves are when she showcases a wee vintage glass dog, kitty or dolly...

And she also does wonderful paper follies too...
watch for more as we approach Christmas...

Congrats Sue on this great press coverage. Your work deserves the attention!  Cannot wait to see what you've come up with for Atlanta!

And here is my current fave...More like this cutie pie are on the site...

Hello busy week stacking up.. me and Sue and Michelle will be leaving for Atlanta at the crack of dawn on Wednesday...it's a l-o-n-g drive but with two good friends, the miles will roll along...and Sue's famous "so good made me lose the keys to the truck last time" peanut butter cookies don't hurt either.

Hello Monday...hello hello

Hello new week...we're off to a good start with a nice weekend under our belt and looking ahead to prepping hard for the jaunt to the Country Living Fair...but more on that next time...

Hello to arcane knowledge and oddball family habits.
It's October, and that's time for our family's annual pilgrimage to the world's largest car show held annually in Hershey, PA...
yes, the chocolate factor ups the ante....

My family loves old cars. All things vintage actually, and old cars never escaped our affections though they are much harder to My first word was "old car" -- ok that's 2 words but I grew up around a sea of vintage autos and conversations about calipers, rotors, bushings and fly wheels were often the norm.
I just didn't realize that it wasn't the norm for most 8 year old girls to be able to tell the difference from a Model 'A', 'T' and 'B' Fords of the 20s and 30s ...

Hello to 3 generations into gathering in the sea of hoods and fenders.

 Hello Kissmobile...
 Hello 442...this car literally growls...

Hello Cute Pick-Up -- I think you need to be green and have the earth Angels Logo on the side to join to "Obsolete Fleet"...

Hello to New York State Applefest....our little Village of 8,000 was over run by 30,000 visitors yesterday for this annual street fair.

Hello to a difference of opinion...Hello to Micah's shirt....
Thanks Jo...It was perfect, and one for the collection.
On Halloween he will wear the one that says, "This is my Halloween costume".  Do you all sense his taste for these types of mass gatherings and festivities.

Hello to a matter of taste.  I mentioned we are car enthusiasts.
Can you tell Charlotte's opinion on this car.

Hello to getting it all done...
there's a list in front of me a 1/2 mile long...but one step at a time seems to be the way to get there.

Hello to you new week....and the countdown to the Fair!

]Hello to a beautiful new week and beautiful new things on the site....

Hope it's a great week for all of you.

xxoo Jen
