I am thrilled to once again host our oldest and most treasured event at the lovely Schuyler Pond -- an exquisite decor locale founded and run by my gal pal, Amanda Crames...this was just the most wonderful of events last year, and with Jo Packham once again as our special guest I expect great things and hope you can be there to share in them....

Saturday, 5/19 from 10am-4pm

and Sunday, 5/20 from 11am-3pm

The event is FREE and open to the public.

A breakout lunch and breakfast are also available, but space is limited to 20 guests and reservations are required.

another week peek

Hi there and I am linking up with Life Rearranged for a peel at the week in cell phone pics...Hope yours was a good one....

 Small pretties at a Kathy's home...I love the outdoors brought inside...

My life is sweeter because I spent the evening listening to Kevin Bacon and his Bacon Brothers Band.  I confess I've had a bad crush on that boy since he was, well, a boy...now at 52 he still has the moves...a big thanks to my niece and sister-in-law for the best birthday gift ever...

 Debrina's work really send me, it's dainty and magical and happy...here's a peek at a little shoot I just worked on for "Romantic Country" magazine...

...and a big congrats to my dear and oh, so talented friend, Jody Battaglia...she's featured in the latest edition of PRIMS magazine....Jody your work deserves this attention and as I have told so many and will again and again, I am ever grateful to you...without you I would not be in business and Earth Angels would not exist...xxoo to you always for being you...

SO REALLY WOO HOO!!!! A whopping 8 pages dedicated to her fabulousness in toymaking...

Jody Battaglia of Beary Best Friends creates a colorful array of wonderful teds, dolls and soft sculpture characters so very reminiscent of old toys. Each has a fantastic personality that springs from Jody’s well-tuned imagination and the stories she’s created for a toyland realm she’s named “Fun Town”. Her work is incredible detailed and wrought with skill from wool, cotton, mohair and velveteen. Amazingly festive and utterly charming, I have loved and

collected her work personally since 1996.

NEW - week peek - peek week - #15

...so...is this week peek thing a good thing?

It has made me pause, take in the whirl of days and try to convey something of what they held...large or small, significant or not, I treasure each one.

I got to my old hood this week for a committee meeting at NYU...Greenwich Village always makes my heart happy, it holds so many great memories...

This is the first teddy I ever purchased from soft sculpture artist and dear friend Pat Murphy, still my fave, she sits right behind me as I work, it's like having Pat watch over me....

Finished the series...WHEW! Now I can get some sleep, was staying up extra late to read....

The work of Debrina Pratt always inspires me to think more gently and to take in the little details....this piece just arrived and once unpacked I just had to keep it insight for the day...

I went to shoot Kathy's parlor and dining room for a piece in "Victorian Homes" magazine...Kath...Ro would say, "Don't touch the hutch!" It looks fab, I love the transferware...

Sweet, sassy and oh so cool Becky has invited me to a party with special guest Anna Corba, oh how I hope to get there....just look at this invite!!!

Say "hi" to Hillary, Ben and Heath from FOLK Magazine....they visited Warwick and we took a drive to get some ice cream on the mountain....

Oh my Debbee, you slay me with your winsome pieces...this little "Fairy GodMother" is among by current faves...she is one of the artist's special editions for Mother's Day 2012...

I feel the angels do need to be kept close...

Likewise my love goes out to a family who has experienced terrible loss this week...

My thoughts and prayers to all who loved little Evan...all of Warwick will miss him...

And in making the days that we each have count, we took a family adventure to the new Smithsonian Air & Space in Chantilly, VA...

Up at 4am to make the drive and be the first folks there when it opened for the day, we had the place to ourselves...

If you saw "Transformers", yes this is the Blackbird that was a former Decepticon, if you have not dea what I am talking about, ask a kid...

I don't have a decent recipe for gluten-free pie crust so I will just fantasize...

...who needs a personal pie maker anyway???!!

I remind each and every day, I have everything I need....
