..forced exercise...it's not too bad.

This is week #4 linking up to share a peek -- to do a week in review -- with a few cell-phone images only. Like everything, this has gotten me thinking....

To reflect on the week is a good things, to pause and recall what I did to move through it, mark it, share it and note it, has been a bit of a forced exercise, but like those girlie push-ups I make myself do, forced exercise builds strength...

The strength to feel good about what I did
and not focus on all the to dos that are still on the list...
The ability to pause in the rush and reflect...
and the capacity to know that I am accountable for all I do.

Here's a peek at this last week...

Speaking of "forcing"...forced this forsythia this week...c'mon Spring I am begging you to come this way...
...I found the "Jenny" license plate in an old box o' stuff this week and well...I can remember it swinging and clinking on the back of my first navy blue bike...I got as a hand-me-down from MaryAnn Shields (a million thanks MaryAnn) my brother-in-laws little cousin...oh I loved that bike...all that remains is the license plate and the good memories of tearing up and down the block in Queens Village on that bike...I ride it in my dreams still....
...Romantic Country magazine (thanks to editor Mary Forsell!!!) will be doing an "Artists' Feature" on Marie Pendley of Derby Blooms...I shot the images for the feature in and about my bedroom...here's a quick image (see me w cell phone) of the piles of props for the shoot...
...and me again...
...and here's a close up of the blooms...
Some sprained their ankle playing basketball....
Someone went to a local Radio Station with the Cub Scouts...ummm we now have 15 little boys in town who want to be disc jockeys....
And Someone had a belated big boy birthday bash...
I am a creature of habit (yes, bad and good)...I have kept the same -- yes, old fashioned - hand-written list and sub-list and calendar style forever...well that really just about 25 years...totally idiosyncratic, list style, my illegible writing and weird codes...but hey, I know what I need to do!
And this is for Cheryl...know I am thinking of you...xxoo
The week ended with these in the hall...
...now who doesn't love seeing them emerge from the attic???? "Oh the Places to Go...." which incidentally, is a great book...upon college graduation both my sister, Roseanna and my pal John gave me copies...I treasure them both (the books ...oh yes, and the people too!)

Ok getting punchy here...signing off! I've been up since 4am and did not need that 3rd cuppa....

xxoo Jen

Jen, the bike plate, the coded to-do list, the suitcases. I do love and miss you so.
