EARTH ANGELS: week peek #13 insta friday

And what a week it was! Tons a foot with kids, family, work and more...it's spring and the entire season feels laden with change and challenge...

So let's start with what feels basic and reassuring...

Those fabulous Fisher-Price toys...my kids still love mine...and we've added to the stash from yard sales....

...confession, I have been running 3 miles 5 days a week...I am thinking to myself the whole time, am I really doing this...I don't love it but I love the time outside and the zing of energy...truth of the matter is, I see it as in investment in good health for old age...

So thanks to our fab webmaster Paul, we are live now with my pal Michelle Sylvia and her creations from The Blackberry Briar...i can tell you it smells utterly fabulous around here, the Secret Lab now smells like a wonderland of baked goods, a spice chest and spring...Thanks to Michelle...I am over the "Pumpkin Moon" to be working with you...

oohh la la the gift of gifts...my sis-in-law and niece are going to take me to see "The Bacon Brothers" on 4/21 as a bday treat -- just get a look see at this gift box with the tix...

...I am absolutely sure Kevin Bacon is coming to Warwick just for me, of course...

My Dad popped over with his 1931 Model "A" to drive the kids to school...it's things like this that send me...this car has been in our family since 1965, before I was born...and it's still making the rounds....

Kathy was so sweet, she took me for lunch at Charlotte's Tearoom where peeps are piled in big glass apotehcary jars....

...and a real "carrot cake" sits on the mantle....

Shopping is never dull when you can build a cave of paper goods...

I am addicted to this lip elixir, so is Ro...

It's like a candy caramel treat without the calories...

and I am smitten with anything salty sweet....

...and speaking of sweet and salty..my pal Jennifer Lanne sent me dark chocolate covered bacon...oh my...the best! As odd as it sounds, it is divine!

Six wonderful shadowboxes arrive from Krys Kikpatrick...HIP HIP HOORAY...it's another fun day...love this one...

Aidan went on his first overnight with the Boy Scouts...rainy and cold...he loved it all...

Melody is up to her old tricks taking broken china and castoffs and making magic...

I finally got going on this series...took me long enough, but then I finished book 1 in less than a day...who needs sleep when there's a good story in front of me!
