It's cold here in the Hudson River Valley; and it's getting colder. The days are short and twilight comes all to soon making the afternoons fleeting and the evenings long and dark. This isn't typically the stuff that inspires color play and new work...
Yet, Jennifer Lanne is not at all a typical type of girl. How wonderful to see that she's seeing things in a new light this winter.
Jennifer lives and works on a farm that dates from the 1760s. It's magic there with a wonderful collection of old buildings and old wood everywhere...once again her surroundings have served up inspiration...She has started to paint on old barn boards and the results are wonderfully tactile and oh so pretty. These arrivals have brightened my day and I was eager to share them.

These beauties will debut at the "heART of winter" in just a bit more than 2 weeks. See them in person on 1/31 and 2/1 in Warwick, NY or keep a keen eye on the in-box if you are on our mailing list....
As the dark, dreary days pass by, all the best to keep warm and cozy...and hope something new and bright comes your way this wintry day.
