“Song of the Sea”Show of Original Folk Art
..our 7th Annual Spring Soiree..

The Gallery at The Country Life
40 Main Street, in downtown Warwick, NY
Here's the "Press Release" ...

A dynamic group of contemporary American folk artists will converge in Warwick, NY to present their original creations to the public on May 18th. Paintings, soft sculpture, home décor, folk art, heirloom teddies, art dolls, altered art, mixed media, assemblages, pottery, jewelry and more – including a showcase of artisan-made outdoor furniture -- will be included in the showcase.
The display will feature more than 2,000 pieces of original art from the studios of more than 20 internationally recognized artists. Featured artists include painters Jennifer Lanne and Bonnie Taylor Talbot, jewelry and wearable art creator Dara DiMagno and assemblage artist Cheryl Kuhn. Returning to the gallery to participate in the event will be Hudson River artists Laurie Meseroll, Kitty Babendreier, and Jill Wiener. Other artists will gather from across the US and England...Debbee Thibualt, Julie Arkell, Jody Battaglia, Pat Murphy, Letty Worley, Lori Ann Corelis, Heidi Steiner, Debbie Hartwick, Stacey Bear, Deirdre Friebely, Nicole Bowen, and Leslie McCabe.

Jen O’Connor, Earth Angels owner, notes, “We are thrilled to bring together this type of creative talent to downtown this spring.” She hopes folks will step-out to enjoy the experience of the show she is creating in a town she loves.
Participating artists will also conduct seminars and host workshops in the spirit of sharing their talent, inspirations and crafting techniques. Several artists will host a breakfast on Sunday morning before the show opens at “Charlotte’s Tea Room”, also in downtown Warwick. Reservations are required for this breakfast.
All are invited to attend the “Song of the Sea” show and see the collection of fresh and inspiring art ensconced at The Gallery at The Country Life for this special event. The show will be open to the public
from 11am-4pm on Sunday, May 18th.
A Preview will be held on Saturday from 1pm-4pm.
There is no fee to attend.
