I am usually lustful for moments like these, calm, quiet...and dare I say, not too much to do on the list...
Here I am, caught in the dull lull before the throng of activity ensues...the artists start arriving tomororow, the gallery needs to be staged, the tent is coming, the phone will start ringing off the hook...but that is tomorrow and Friday and Saturday and Sunday...and then the clean-up starts on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday...and so it continues...
But, today I am peaceful. At least as peacful as a hurricane as it gathers it's strength...either way...these new paintings from Jennifer suit my mood. I love them and their stories.
More soon on the event...and in the meantime enjoy any quiet moments you might find in your day..

Oh... all of the Jennifer Lanne's paintings are beautiful!!!! I just love her birds and her bird cages. :) Enjoy your quiet moment Jen... as you say the storm is about to arrive. :)
