What is she thinking...does she like the subject or the artist?
I often think how fabulous it is to be surrounded by art...what a wonderful impact it has on my kids, how it enriches each day with texture and the energy of the handmade objects themselves...
... when the Mud-Cakes from Laurie Meseroll arrived this week, "Bib" (full name Bib the Jedi Knight O'Connor)....took an interest.
Here's my spokes-cat and self appointed mascot...
Enjoy your day and if you have a pet, I bet they love art too.

What a cute cat you have Jen. I do believe animals know when a lot of love and attention goes into to a piece of art. Our tux cat Ralph loves some of the artist bears I bring home. It's funny but out of all the bears I've brought home he love one of my Pat Murphy bears the most. When I brought it home and set it on our sofa he jumped up at licked it. I'm not sure why some of the bears he like and others not so much. It doesn't matter if I have a bunch from one artist or another... some times only one gets picked as a favorite...go figure. :)

looks just like my mom's cat, who lives in an art studio full time!
my cat doesn't care for my art/crafts, but she does want to be WHEREVER i am, touching WHATEVER i'm doing. it's funny how many times i end up having to pick cat hair out of a finished stuffed animal's seams, or off something i've sewn.
That's too cute!
BTW here's my mom's cat, supervising my mosaic work.
Here Kitty Kitty Kitty. I think she love the art work, especially the kitty picture.
My kitty loves everything I bring home. She lays on the fabrics when I am trying to sew.
They're sure fun to have around.
