Shucks...I missed all the fun!

I cannot tell you how much I wish I could have been at Becky Rourk's home to celebrate her festive and oh so artful style along with her crew of gal pals and Anna Corba...

When the invite came I thought i might be able to really be there, but life and kids and the day to day just got in the way.  Sigh...

And congrats to Becky, her artful "Craft Gathering with Anna" will be featured among the pages of the next Mingle magazine (this is Stampington's cool publication on occasions and festivities). 

I am so thrilled that there will be a feature on this spiffy event!

 Becky is a great story teller and you can see she tells a tale of style with all she does....

 I want to dive in to her table of loot, supplies and goodies galore!

...no little detail was left undone...

 Her gorgeous home is much the same and was the perfect backdrop for this crafting party.

I missed being with you ladies! 

Becky so glad we'll see each other in Sanford, FL TOMORROW!!! 

...maybe next time I can make it. It was a treat to be invited and so glad you gals had such a super bash!

...some of my favorite Americans....

We host a backyard 4th of July bash every year..

...and at the beginning of the gathering I have the camera in hand and catch a few families on the flag as they arrive...friends new and old, family and neighbors...a wonderful crew...

  

Then I lose the camera -- I have to get the cooling and serving taken care of -- and I usually find it much later in the day in some odd spot...so I just start snapping away knowing I've missed more than I can ever capture and hope that memory serves as a sweet keeper of the day...

And of course -- DESSERT PARADE!!  Thanks to this year's Grand Marshal, Shauna Baird, for rallying the troops and beating the spoon on the old pot lid to get these 60+ kids to serve dessert to all...

And just a sweet aside...here I am with Michele...we met at 9 years old and were fast friends...

I love that we do this party to stay connected to so many folks...
