I have long-realized that I work with amazing women. Each has thier own story, and though I have heard it told over supper, on long car rides, and in bits and pieces as we work a show, it's another thing entirely to read it,
start to finish, in black and white.
Having held her creations in my hands for years, her new feature in
I am staggered by Krys -- yes her talent, but also her bravery, determination and bright spirit.
Funny enough back in 1999, the first wholesale account I opened for my then fledgling business was with Bunnies By The Bay...it's 14 years later, and I love that I am still working with Krys and have grown to know her better in recent years since she's shared her original creations with Earth Angels.
You can read more in the article, but she and her sister Suzanne were able to heal from a series of tragedies in the 1980s through their art, and have created an amazing studio, wholesale line, and presence in the collectible and baby gift worlds with what they design and create under their well respected, charming, and recognizable brand.
