...it's winter in NY

Hello to the new week.

I feel like there is this bright shiny new year in front of us...waiting for us to try it on for size, use it and enjoy it as we can...
even if it's wintertime, I want to be outside!

 

I love the winter and the snow....it's clean and white and feels like it's blanketing our little town in frosty fun.

Hello to chilly noses and toes...in the past three days we've gone sledding twice and been skiing.  It's been mild and in the mid 30s so we've been out there as much as we can.  

 Hello to going it alone, or getting a friend to help you up...or down the hill.

Hello to  a few runs down the hill after school on Friday with Grandpa Jim. 

At 80 he likes to show the young whippersnappers how it's really done!

...and we'll take our fun til the sun goes down and the temperatures drop.

 Hello friends, we're glad we run into you here and there in town and on the slopes.  I love this little town, City girl that I am, I have realized just how tremendous a community can be, even if it's small in size...

  ....hello to saying "wheeeeee" and letting go of chores for a brief spin down to hill...here we are at 9:30 on Sunday morning....we had a family mass and baptism to attend at 2pm so we snuck out for a little early morning fun...
