My friend Jo Packham -- creator of "Where Women Create" and "Where Women Cook" fame -- is putting together another book called "Pieography".
She put the word out asking for essays from women on "your life as a pie"...in other words, if you needed to analogize your life into the ingredients of a pie...what would yours be...Nutty? Something savory? Bittersweet?
I took Jo at her challenge and wrote the requisite 3oo word essay...though I cannot spill the beans on the specifics or the actual recipe of my "life as a pie" here -- you'll need to wait for the book to print to peek at that -- I can share with you the shoot that followed.
You see the "pie" has to have a real recipe to go with it! The pie has to be baked and photographed to accompany the essay...So we set to it this week...
I have a fab assistant who works for me 2 days a week, , Harold, aka the "kid henchman" who does my shipping, photo editing, etc, took on the baking challenge so I could shoot the photos...
Sure it looks good...but it tastes better!

You just never know what's cooking here at Earth Angels...but it does take a lot to pull it all together. Thanks to Harold for the assistance on this shoot...
Now, we are back to the regular schedule, but time for a snack first.
