Sis Boom Visit

Some of you recognize the living room of my friend Jennifer Paganelli's home and studio...

she is the design genius behind Sis-Boom fabrics...

I adore her fab sense of style and loved the excuse of a trip to visit her in Wilton, CT needing to drop something off that I had been storing for her since we travelled together to the Country Living Fairs...(and yes, Jennifer will be there with us once again...)

Jennifer's fabrics and projects roam across her home...take a peek...

Here's a peek in her showroom where she just finished her work on her next book...."HAPPY HOME"...this new book will be out May 1st and Jennifer will attend our annual "Spring Fling" as a special guest along with Jo Packham -- to promote this fab new publication...

Just look at the piles of lush magic in her studio...old wallpapers, paper and fabric and loot galore...boxes - bins - and odd piles of vintage lovelies...

And don't you wonder what she'll be up to with these piles of supplies in her sunny studio...

Insta Friday...BAM BAM...or where have my feet taken me this week?!?

I feel like this week hit me over the head...BAM BAM...drive 20 hours overnight to FL...

BAM BAM...have some Disney FUN for 3 days

...BAM BAM...drive home again and in between get some other fun things...and alas a whole lotta work done...

It was one of those weeks that came and went...BAM BAM BLAM-O! Here's a peek...

The kids woke up and they were in St. Augustine....our Nation's oldest city -- yes folks were there and settled by 1513 -- and one of my faves...well worth the trip to walk on the walls at the Castillo de San Marco early in the day...

Here we are...

What a treat it was to have Liv with us for a day...there's this amazing feeling to love your own childhood friends' children...and to know them...

...and to have them love each other too...
And of course, it's great to have a hubby that's loves "Mexico" at Epcot...

...and still my fave...whirling around on the CAROUSEL!!!

Oh, and just a wee bit of a MAJOR UNDERTAKING...we have begun a re-do of the website for a re-launch later this year...the fellas at AP-Logic are amazing and thorough and my oh my is this a whole lotta work or what? But it will be worth it I am confident -- after all Paul built the site now back in 2000!!! Think we are overdue???

If you know any males aged 4-13 you likely know what a "Bey Blade Stadium" is too...that said, you now have a key visual reference for just how large my cat is as well.

And that weekly trip to the library brings in all back into focus....

visit "The Nest"

...a new little shop has opened in Glenside, PA...

Me and Kath are always up for a junking jaunt... Recently we popped down to Philly for the day to visit Gwyn Ennis -- her college friend. Gwyn has just opened a sweet little shop called "The Nest" and it's laden with oddball goodies that beckon a closer look...

Here's the info...Gwyn is not on line but do stop in of you are in the area...there's a charming coffee house and sandwich shop at the train station just down the block and more antiquing nearby...
