ohhh ahhhh 3 years

There is a certain joy in watching a dream come true for someone you love...
I have been there to watch my friend Jo's dreams bloom, I have helped her along her way, and given what I could. She has allowed me to share in it all...and its an even more beautiful thing to see a dream grow so big, that it can include so many of us in it.

This is issue #12 of the magazine that was once only a dream for my dear friend Jo Packham; it has just celebrated it's 3rd year in print with its utterly stellar issue for August - September - October 2011...

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!
And it is amazing that it has happened!

In late 2007 the phone rang...it was Jo Packham...she had seen the feature on me and my artful events in Country Living magazine's March 2007 issue and wanted to make the trip to Warwick, NY to attend our next event...

Jo wanted me to be a part of issue #1 of her new magazine...and seeing the Earth Angels "Secret Lab" across 12 pages of the Premier Issue was an utterly wonderful boost to me and all of the Earth Angels...

Fast forward three years, hundreds of features later, a million funny stories and more than a handful of challenges and here we are....August 2008 and my shelf of treasured issues of this magazine, this amazing publication is growing ever more full with inspirational stories, peeks at studios and amazing stories of creative women that bring hope, joy and feed my own dreams...

Even more wonderful, my friend Jody Battaglia is featured among the pages of the current issue. Jody is not only a great gal pal, but an uber talented soft sculpture artist and supportive friend without whom I simply would not be in business; without the Jody, Earth Angels would not exist as it does and you would not be reading this post...
Jody...many, many congrats on your well deserved feature...you and your work make me happy every day...and you. JODY have made so many of my dreams come true...

Thanks to Jo and Jody for believing in me and in turn all of to you for believing in them....in us...in those that make, create and live our handmade lives...
