...it's great to watch the little ones we love grow...and being a kid in the summer is among the sweetest things I know...
Each year we host an annual reunion -- a backyard bbq soiree of sorts with a big grill, a waterslide and our annual dessert parade, and this year I was too busy having fun and enjoying our guests to take as many pics as usual...sigh...the tally:
165 folks, 2 cats and one very, very large bug!
Here are some that I managed to snap on our flag...a little tradition we have..."Country Living" noted us for this in a July issue a few years back... and I still love catching everyone in patriotic style as they arrive...
And then there is always that favorite shot of the day....the kid that makes me glad to host the bash year after year just to watch them love it all...
So here's to your own patriotic traditions and all the best to enjoy them...
