We are just back from our annual trip to visit painter Jennifer Lanne and her wonderful hubby. We love our time at their homestead...the kids are crazy for the pigs, goats, chickens and multitude of animals....and I love my time in her studio where I was able to sneak a peek at her latest creations...
These boxed beauties are all set to be packed up and brought to The Country Living Fair later this week...It's hard to choose a favorite!
Each one is really wonderful...an original painting enshrined in an antique box, adorned with old textiles and found objects and finished with subtle detailing.
I really like how they can hang, or stand...Email if you'd like more details on her latest mixed media pieces before we load them on the truck to make the drive to Ohio.
And we're hoping you can stop by and see Jennifer and her work at The Fair later this week -- 9/18-20 in Columbus, OH....
