Oh happy day, a wonderful group of Mud-Cakes have arrived from Laurie Meseroll's Woodstock studio...
This grouping is absolutely outstanding and full of soft tones and and sentiments. In them she visits friendship, and a love and a longing for the sea.
Some of you know, Laurie's father is an accomplished chemist and she herself adores the science...
If she went to Hogwarts, surely she would earn high marks in any potions class. Of special note; these pieces are done with hand-mixed pigments and with handmade vinegar paints. Laurie's talents show in her grasp of color and texture which flourish in her mixed media creations.
Here's Laurie with Shannon...the start of summer means Laurie is in Woodstock full time, but it also means Shannon heads off to college. Oh dear! What will I do?!

Beautiful paintings!! I want to go to Hogwarts, although I can never seem to find that 9 3/4 platform.
