hello Monday...watching her paint...Laurie's newest studio and works for Fall 2013

hello Monday...you are a new week and I am ready for you...
I feel like the fall is already a work in progress...

I want to share a peek at something special....you see to me there is something so peaceful about watching an artist work.  To see their hands move to make what is in their mind is nothing short of a dreamy experience.

I have watched Laurie Meseroll paint many times, but this past weekend was my very favorite of those times.

She was ensconced in an airy space in Sharon Springs that Ben Ashby of FOLK Magazine had secured for her...as a special guest of the Sharon Springs Harvest Festival, Laurie was working along side her talented daughter Tatiana Tensen...there they painted and spent the weekend sharing what they do.

Here's a peek below...
And to see more of Laurie's work and shop for her paintings, prints, jewelry and decor items see her page on the site HERE....and stay tuned Laurie is working on a new line of clothing...and more items for the home...

And here's a peek at my current faves

...hello Laurie -- thanks to you for sharing what you do...it's been my honor to represent her for almost 10 years and to see her work still thrills me...

hello peaceful spaces and quiet moments

hello talented artists...do what you do...

Hello and thanks our long time Earth Angels friends and supporters Kathleen and Jean...you made the afternoon so special...I will never forget sitting there with you and wiling a wonderful moment together....

hello works in progress...I feel like the best of things are all in progress around me

hello my kiddos, see what working hard can do...there's beauty in dedication

hello to all of you....

have a wonderful week...

hello Monday...I Love NY...

Hello Monday...
I feel like we really need a tour bus for the Earth Angels
-- we've been on the Road sooo much...
but then again, we are The Art Girls' RoadShow!!!

And in all this traveling...there's no place like home....
You see, I really love New York...not just the City of course, but the whole darn State...all 62 counties that range from the Canadian border across to New England and down the mighty Hudson River to the mouth of New York Harbor...stretching wide across Long Island and broadly saluting New Jersey and Pennsylvania as it forges westward...
I love New York...especially in the Fall...

So, this great big State all drenched in Fall colors...yep, I love it, but I also love that other people love it...Josh and Brent of The Beekman 1802 Boys love it and have made Sharon Springs their home -- working and cooking on their farm...they were the impetus for the Fall Festival in Sharon Springs several years ago and for this I give them a wonderful nod...

And even better...now FOLK magazine is produced from Sharon Springs too with Ben Ashby and Heath Stiltner now residing there... I was totally thrilled to be a part of their first FOLK MARKET at the Sharon Springs Harvest Festival...
It was a small and sweet showing for Earth Angels...we were included in the pop up in the lobby of an old theater...but small and sweet sometimes speaks volumes when the goods are all handmade.
Here are my fave images of the day (more are on facebook)...you just might find you need to be there next year....especially if Laurie Meseroll will do a painting class next time...she has found amazing studio space there (will post on that later this week....)

Sue Parker also made a guest appearance...and we got to sneak in a little vintage shopping too!

Thanks to Heath and Ben for including us...it was a true treat...

hello Monday...hello unpacking all this art and handmade from all these shows

hello fall, I like your crisp and snappy attitude

hello New York, need I remind you I love you

hello school, it's really here now and the schedule feels real enough and familiar

hello laundry, hello more laundry (do we really all need this much clothing?!?)

hello FOLK, hello Beekmans, hello Laurie and Sue and Tasie...thanks for making the weekend possible!

hello to you all...hope your week will be wonderful!

My Fair Ladies...Coumbus Country Living Fair and all good things Ohio and More....

The Art Girls' RoadShow has just rolled back from Ohio....

We had another wonderful event with the Country Living and Stella Show folks in Columbus, and while I really need to unpack...I had to share these images....

 The Before....

 The After...

A big part us  being there is our "Earth Angels LIVE!" demo tent where you can meet and chat with the artists as they work and share their techniques and style tips...Shannon announced the who's who and when...

(....a thanks to Jo Packham -- she sent us this uber cool standing chalkboard to herald our daily schedule...it was an all around shout out for the daily demos...a great goodie from Create-ologie....we missed you this year Jo!!!)
Laurie Meseroll was amazing talking about mixed media techniques...she also was a special guest on the Main Stage of the Fair....

Sue Parker did an awesome job demoing holiday paperies and sewn crafts...go Skippy Doodle Sue!!

Nancy signed her books all weekend long!

And here are the FAIR LADIES...

I love and respect all these women...they worked hard and they not only made the event possible...they made it a success...say hello to them all!
Shannon and Sue...

 Cheryl...yes we see you!!!
Allie...

...and Sophie...

Letty and Val...

And here are some fun shots of just some of the 22 tables and pieces of furniture lade with art and handmade goods...

...I mean really, look at these gals, they work hard but they keep it FUN!
After all, this is ART we're talking about!

A big thanks to all for making this event possible...
the artists: Sue, Nancy, Letty, Val, Cheryl and Laurie...
the helpers: Allie, Sophie and Shannon...
and all our good friends: Bob, Harold, and Julie without whom this simply would not be possible...

I am already looking forward to next year! And our next EVENTS too!
